On September 26, 2012 Prime Minister Boyko Borisov opened in Dolni Bogrov first kindergarten in Bulgaria, which will be fully heated environment.
Sofia Municipality completed their first building, equipped with installations that reduce energy consumption - geothermal heating system, assisted by solar panels on the roof. Kindergarten will be visit by one hundred children from area "Kremikovtzi". It was built for 12 months.
The total building area is 1,458.34 square meters and constitutes single storey with basement, which is a separate service of the kindergarten - kitchen, laundry and drying room, storage and technology space. On the first floor are located three gardening groups, a creche groups , sports and music hall.
The heating system is built by MULTICLIMA Ltd., with low temperature underfloor heating supplied with warm water from the heat pumps, production of HELIOTHERM Austria. The heating sections of air handling units also are supplied with hot water from the heat pumps.
In addition were installed 25 square meter solar panels, that are part of the heating system.
