They incorporate all the features required for outdoor location. In particular the semi–hermetic screw compressors are housed in a purpose built soundproofed closed compartment. The control panel is protected by a double enclosure designed specifically for outdoor locations.

Heat pumps can be equipped with the LT low temperature option. This includes specific regulation which activates adequate refrigerant injection.
This keeps the compressor's working range within its safety limits still guaranteeing the unit's operation at
-10 °C external air temperature.
